writes:im 16 and im in love with my best friend still. our relationships is weird where were totallh best friends and talk about everything but weve gone out a couple times always ending in her breaking up with me in a day or two. after one relationship the next chool yr started and she tsarted going to pafrties and hooking up with ppl alot. and shes being used and shes intoxicated and she says she knows shes being used and i dont get it. then she just ignored me for 4 months then out of the blue she started texting me and its been nonstop friends ever since. now she knows i love her and she told me to not like her. then 2 1/2 weeks ago we went out for a week then she broke upwith me. nows she telling me she doesnt want me to like her and shes been going to parties like 3 days after we broke up hooking up with guys. i dont know what to do about this its so hard almost impossible to let go, but am i wasting my time?

reader, anonymous, writes (30 July 2009): i'm sorry but yeah you are wasting your time..i would go out with other girls and try and forget her. maybe sometime in the future she'll love you but right now she doesn't sorry :(
