writes:I dont know what to do anymore.I am head over heels in love with my best friend and we have known each other since we were 6 years old.I now live in a different country from him and we dont see each other a lot. We might see each other at christmas just for a day. I love him a lot and i want to tell him how i feel but i dont want to ruin our friendship. What shall i do the longer i keep it a secret the more it hurts me inside.

 hey,i have been inthe same sitiuation crushing over best friend but i unfortunately didnt tell him but i do wonder what if' So take a chance and tell him u might be suprised by finding out he love u too but if he has a gf i dont think its a good idea(but hey thats my opinion)

 A relationship is impractical if you can only see each other once a year, so telling him you love him still hurts you. You can tell him this so it makes him happy and flattered. It would be a cherished memory. It makes you feel better to get it off your chest. You don't see each other a lot so even if you ruined the friendship let that be. We don't hear much "I love yous" and life is short. You don't have to care whether it is a puppy love, infatuation or a crush. As long as it is heartfelt, he will feel grateful to hear it. Just tell him you are not expecting anything. You just want him to know.
