Whenever we do talk he is quite shy with me and often looks away when I maintain eye contact. He is not one of those guys who goes round chatting up girls in the gym at all! I really want to get to know him better without seeming weird. I was thinking of writing a note and leaving it in an envelope for him . Just saying I like you, would like to get know you better if you are single? Is this ok? I don't know any other way! Unless you want to give me some suggestions? I have to do something about it because I keep thinking about him! Thanks

I don't have the courage to talk to him as I know the other guys tease him when I do talk to him which is why I think he must like me, there are signs he does and things that have happened. I always catch him looking at me then he looks away! Was thinking a short but note with my number if he wants to do something about it he can, if he has a girlfriend then I won't hear anything?

Sending a note is a bit weird and you can't assume he's single. As honey said, try to strike up a convo with him, maybe ask him to help you train and see how he reacts.

Hmm, how about MAKING time to chat with him first, gauge his reaction to that before sending a note?
