A female reader, iloveyhoo United Kingdom +, writes (27 June 2009):

iloveyhoo agony auntwell im not a boy im a girl. but when i told the guy i liked him he really liked this other girl. the only thing which made me tell him how i felt was because we had just talked on msn for more than 5 hours, one of my mates didn't know i liked him but kept sayin he thought i was pretty. so i thought i might as well tell him.

get into a deep conversation with her so you get to know her more. then just come out with it something like i think i might fancy you a bit. but be cool with it, with whatever she says.

good luck x
