Girl. you need to stop thinking that you are ugly.You are not ugly.Everybody have their beauty,its not only outside of beauty.Inporent thing is you have to beauty inside.If you have good heart one day one person will be see that beautiful heart.I am not beautiful.I am 21 years old.I am kind of fat too.158lb. my high 5'2".I thought like you when I was 15 years old too.But I am not worry about boys. I care about my studing,myself,my family and friends.So, When I finish high school I went to college.Like 3 months later,I got a boyfriend.He is handsome,kind,sweet and caring person.I am lucky to have him.I put very value on me. He give me alots of confident on my beauty.He always tell me "only me can see your beauty,that's your heart. I don't care how beautiful people out there I don't know them.may be they don't have heart like yours.I like your heart and I always ganna be love you". He always tell me like that.I just passing you to have confident yourself. One day you will find somebody that really love you and care about you.Don't worry about boyfriend.They will come their self.Don't look for it.You too young for those.Be happy what you have.And love yourself.  I think the reason why you dont have a bf is not down to your looks but down to the way you feel about yourself.
Alot of not typically beautiful people have plenty of lovers because they love themselves, their beauty shines from inside out.
Before any guy can love you with respect and loyalty you must love yourself. Otherwise you will end up attracting wrong guys who will hurt you.
Having a boyfriend is not at all important in life. Whats important is that you take care of yourself and enjoy your time. Dont be upset and worried about all this, the right guy will come along at the right time for you.

That said, it sounds to me like you have low self esteem. You need to address this problem first. Bad guys (the ones that will hurt you), prey on girls with low self esteem and hurt them. You need to be happy with yourself before you can be happy with someone else. So build up your self esteem first, then search for a good guy later.
You're popular! You have friends. There's nothing wrong with you. Be happy for yourself.
