He just doesnt look like the kind of guy i would date but he has the personality i love in guys caring respectful laid back and sweet, good with kids( i think its really hot whrn guys are good with kids) and treats all girls respectfully ( not all guys can do that ) so should i let looks win and not date him ( btw he kind of has a belly lol not fat just a belly) or should i let personality win and date him?? Plz help i need experiences advice ohh and if this matters he is one year older than me - he failed a grade! Thnks for reading!!:):):)

 well this is where you have to just decide. You say you love his personality but its up to you to decide if his looks are too much for you to deal with and if you think they will get in the way of your relationship. facts say a relationship based on just looks last at most 3 years and the brain completly looses interest. well lucky for you that you are just focused on the personality =P. well i say go for it. if you like him that much then its a no brainer. but like i said if you think the looks will get in the way then dont do it. no one can really help you all too much in the situation. just go with your gut. good luck. much love

 You say that he's not your type, but the way you describe him, it seems as though he is your type! You should date him. It won't hurt. And besides, sometimes, opposites attract! I hope this helps!
