We try new things all the time, and recently without even discussing it I've noticed that he has started putting his hand close to my neck or on my throat not applying pressure or anything like that just a place to put it to be close to me I guess, and I haven't really said anything about it to him or anyone but I sort of like it. I am not into kinky stuff like bondage or anything like that not hardcore anyways just small stuff him holding me down or something like that...but this is different he hasn't ever really done anything like that. Is it weird that I enjoy it? Should I tell him that I like it, it subtly came up in conversation but I kind of played dumb I don't want to freak him out since I'm the first girl he's ever been with. So what should I do? Bring it up and let him know that I like it, and if I do that...what happens if it gets more intense and I decide I don't like it more hardcore than what it already is.

If you are old enough to do the act, you are old enough to talk about it.
Tell HIM how you feel, and what you really like. Encourage him. If he then goes too far, then tell him that too.
Just be open and share from the heart, and he will know where he stands with you and your intimacy.
