However, I'm only 18 so I will be claiming single parent benefits and I was wondering if you had to have a fathers name to be eligible for this claim? Make an appointment to see someone, and they will be able to give you free advice on all of the issues above.
I'm pretty sure that you'll be able to claim benefit without the father's name. But also, I think if you go to the CSA and talk to them, they'll fund a DNA test to ensure whoever the father is pays up.
