I told her it was mine the whole time but she denied it until the baby waas three months old. I want my son's last name changed to mine instead of the rapists last name she gave him, but she might not consent. I want to know if I have the right to have my last name on my son when she lied through her teeth for a long time and I do see my son and help her out with him when she asks and how do I go about doing it? If there is no DNA evidence, you don't know that it's yours. That's the first step. You need proof that it's yours. (I know you see your son, but you need to be sure). I don't think you have the right to force your name on your son. We don't here in Britain, and they don't anywhere else in Europe. The name reverts to what the mother wants, I think.
