My bf has always said he is bi-curious but has never done anythng about it. Now he is going out for drinks with a male friend who is gay. They text each other and always put x (kisses) at the end of texts. He says he loves me and I have nothing to worry about. Do I ?

You should ask him directly what is going on.

If you went out for dinner with another guy and were text messaging him with Xs, what would your boyfriend read into that?

Is he constantly going out with this guy, or is this a once in a while thing?Do they text message often? Is he giving you any reason to believe he is in love with this guy, outside of the way he signs his emails?

Maybe he is just flirting with the idea of being intimate with a guy through this friend. Talk about it with him. Is exploring his bi side something especially important for him, or just something that he would eventually explore if he were single and not dating you?

If he's putting x (kisses) at the end of his texts then of course you have something to worry about. Men don't do that! Wake up and smell the coffee.
