today my vagina felt extra itchy and weird. and then i looked in the mirror and realized i had a somewhat thick..white/yellow vaginal discharge and it kindof smelt. and whenever i went to go pee it didnt burn until late at night.. the real burning feeling occured. do i have a yeast infection? if yes.. should i just go and buy over the counter medication?? and remember seeing a doctor isnt really an option for me

This sounds normal, but if you ever concerned about this sort of thing you really need to see your GP or the clinic nurse. They can put your mind at rest far sooner than we can over the web.
If you are itching, or have sorenes on urinating or are red or your discharge smells then chances are you have an infection, but like I said a trip to the doctor will put your mind at rest.
Good luck x

Yes its natural but then if it smells persistently, obviously its off to the doc. It could be from the type of food we eat, or hormonal inbalance, albeit sometimes temporary in nature, from the body wash you use. Try using some natural body wash products - the ones which are organic. There is sometimes the factor of Ph balance to consider. Strange but true- do consume lactobacillus acidophillus - easily obtainable from over the counter or from some reputable direct marketing company. Even examine if after moving your bowels, do you wipe from behind or from the front.. hence the tissue paper coming in direct contact from the anus to the vagina. Just helpful hints.[email address blocked]Prem.

Relax! Don't worry. This is just normal vaginal discharge produced to keep the vagina clean. It happens to all young women when they turn a certain age. It should smell slightly yeasty but if it ever turns yellow or itches or smells very strong you should consult a doctor. Hope this helps!
