Do I give him a second chance?

Question - (13 April 2009) 2 Answers - (Newest, 14 April 2009)
A female Ireland age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I dated my b/f for 3 years before becoming pregnant. We got into a huge fight and broke up 3 months ago, 3 weeks later my son was born and he didn't show up for the birth.

He showed up on Easter Sunday telling me he loves me and we ended up sleeping together. This was the first time he ever seen his son. Now that I think about it I am mad that it took him so long to finally grow up and come to see us but at the same time I love him and want to forget everything and take him back. What do I do?

Don't take him back just yet!

or even ever!

You can't just take him back, becuase once you have done it before, he will keep on doing it becuase he will know you will take him back every and any time!

trust me, if you really want him back badly make him prove to you that he can and will stay with you x adn that he loves you :) x

RichardJames agony auntMy dad never came back. Maybe he just needed to work it out. It was childish but atleast he did it. Respect him for coming back if his intentions are good. There is a lot of pressure to be a good father and you know he feels it. Take it slow slow slow. Make sure he will be there in the future. This is now about the child, try not to be selfish. Good Luck.
