writes:Hey everyone i'm in a bit of a problem and need help so all answers are appreciated I'm 18 and I've never had a boyfriend in my life and I always feel lonely. My mum keeps saying to me i'll find someone but I never do. about 3 weeks ago i met a guy at the bus stop. He says he's 24 but looks a little older we chat a lot and he gave me his number and asked me to add him on facebook. While on his page my mum seen him and demanded who he was. I told her everything and she told me he looks dangerous. My friends seen him as well and told me 2 go for it. I dont know what to do. He seems really nice and I'm stuck not knowing whether to text him or live a life lookin at him every day at the bus stop feeling bad plz help :(

 Hmmm, you should ask your mom how he looks dangerous. If it's just from appearance, then you should at least give him a chance because you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. On the other hand, if she's seen him up on a "wanted" poster in the post office or something lol then yeah, you should take caution. Other than that, you've got his number and you see him often at this bus stop. No one is forcing you to date him right now so why don't you just keep chatting with him, text him or call him from time to time to feel him out? Definitely get to know him better. Maybe then, that could lead to you guys going for lunch...If you notice any signs that might make you uncomfortable then there's plenty more guys out there for you. It doesn't hurt to give it a try. Good luck though ;)

 meet up with him somewhere public so you can be safe. i doubt you can tell with any accuracy what a person is like from looking at their photo's i.e. its impossible to know if someone is a thief off their facebook profile.
go for it- but be safe and things may go well or they may not, but if you dont make the effort you will never know and it will be on your mind as a regret
