My mom even told me it's obvious that he's in love with me. I just don't want to believe it. I don't want to lose him as a best friend but I can't help but feel awkward around him now. I guess my question is, what do I do? Do I confront him and talk to him about it? Do I stop being his friend? I'm not sure because this could definitely cause problems with my relationship and with my friendship with him.

It could make things awkward between the both of us. I'd rather have it awkward for me and still be his best friend then it be completely awkward and not hang out at all. It's just so hard. Every decision has a major fallback. :/But thank you for your helppp! (:

this is a toughie.... maybe talk to him and tell him how much you value him as a friend, but your with the one you love. it might hurt him, but if he truly respects you, he'll be happy to be friends with you and nothing more.
i wish you luck :)
