writes:First off, Sorry it's so long!My boyfriend and I have been dating since October 2008. I love him, I Honestly do and I know he loves me. We haven't had sex yet but we have done other things like he's fingered me, and stuff like that. Well, today him and I went to a dance that was at his school(Im homeschooled). I've never met any of his friends or anyone that he goes to school with, until today. Well, everything was going great and some of his friends and also his cousin told me that he never stopped talking about me, which I was happy to hear that but then they said that he's said he's slept with me and said he popped my cherry(Which he did) and other things like that. I talked to him about it because I was upset that he'd go and tell someone something so personal. He said they were lying and everything that all them, told me were rumors. I believe him because I trust him and I trust him not to do anything like that. But the thing is, some of the things I was being told, were actually true about what we did except for the part about us having sex. I believe him but this is really eating at me, Idk if I should trust him or believe his friends? Any advice is appreciated!

reader, anonymous, writes (1 April 2009): Well its true what kellyxxx said "boys will be boys"...although the very same thing happen to me, like you I'm also home schooled my boyfriend isn't, and well he kinda did pop my cherry but we've never had sex just oral, but any ways one day I met some of his friends since he wanted me to go with him to eat so everyone pretty much left the restraurant and we were about to leave till my bf had to use the restroom I waited outside for him and one of his friends all of a sudden comes up from behind me and puts his hand around my waist and tells me I look hot?! well I pull away from him right away then he grabs me really hard were he's not suppose to and moves as if his fingering me and says he wished he was the one who poped my cherry that he would have made it so much better by then I was so freaked out I kicked him I yelled at him to get away and he did so then he said my bf told everyone I lost my virginity to him by oral sex. true , he said my bf told everyone every little detail, I was so mad because everything he said seemed true, cause earlier some of his other friends were also dropping hints and I believed him, by then my bf's best friend is right next to the guy cussing at him to leave the guy laughs and leaves by then I'm crying I was walking away when my bf comes out and his best friend tells him what he saw and I was so mad I told him I hated him I never wanted to see him again etc. Etc. My bf tells me its not true but I wasn't listening i thought he was just trying to save his ass but then his best friend ends up taking me home... I really meant what I said to bf so after being so hurt for days my best friend came by to see me since she goes to the same school he goes to she said she heard my bf's supposable friend (the same one who touched me) ask my bf if hes taken my cherry yet she said my bf told him no that its none of his business.. Turns out that guy lied to my bfs friends that it was true that my bf did pop my cherry .. After alot of talking and that guy getting his ass kick it was all a lie my bf never told anyone and everything turned out fine even better....... Sorry I gave you my whole life story LoL but I just wanted to show you things do happen that twist the story along the way..so I think you should true him when he says he didn't?!

 I wouldn't trust him! Boys will be boys and they will brag to their friends and sometimes lie to make themselves look cool! I wouldn't trust him for a while as he could have said these things! I suppose,on the other hand , that they could have been rumours! But a rumour has to start somewhere, chances are it came from your boyfriend and got twisted somewhere along the way! X
