A female age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I've recently starting dating this guy who i am totally besotted with he is like all I think about but I don't know why its really strange.

He is charming, sensitive, funny, mysterious, caring and very very handsome but at the same time he is rude, arrogant, and offensive.

There will be days where he will the nicest person ever a real gentleman but then some days he will walk past me in the corridor and not even acknowledge me but will always apoligise for his behaviour the next day. I just don't understand him, and I think that is what attracts me to him if any of this makes sense.

I just don't know if I should carry on dating him because his behaviour is sort of erratic and am I leading myself up to heartbreak?

I just need some advice on whether it is all worth it does he good points really outweigh his bad?

A female reader, Emilysanswers United Kingdom +, writes (9 December 2009):

No this kind of guy gets off on having girls forgive him. he knows he can do what he likes to you and say sorry and you'll let him get away with it.

He's going to keep pushing too. He'll be more and more horrible to you, or get physical, just to see if he can apologise and have you back the next day.

Yes these guys attract us but it's only really stupid girls who actually put up with them for long enough to have them as a boyfriend.

Good Luck!! xx
