Troubled101 agony auntpersonally i wait, sometimes too long. I agree with Dazzerg that it is expected for the guys to make the move but i would like if some girls made the first move more often. So in short yes the majority of guys do make the first moves but often the best guys will wait and sometimes too long. Hope i helped you.

Dazzerg agony auntSpeaking personally I usually make a move quickly - too quickly i guess. I think generally guys are expected to make the first move so they tend to but any number of factors can affect this. For example if the guy is insecure or shy then he obviously isnt going to make quick moves or on the other hand he might make quick, nervous jittery moves.

I think the majority would move relatively quickly as they know the expectation is on them to make the first move. Your response is up to you, I have heard that there are various 'rules' - (like waiting three days before getting in touch after getting a number) but I dont think these are hard and fast.

Its probably best to not give too much away too early (as I always do) but on the other hand I am not a really a fan of the dating 'game' - prefering plain speaking up frontedness. Hope that helps. Take care.
