 Hey Anonymous,I'm sure you've already got your fill of answers to the question you asked back in 07', but I wanted to throw my two cents in for you as well. Anybody who would break up with somebody else because of something they haven't done, or wont do to their body is all together extremely shallow, superficial, manipulative, and controlling. Nobody should have to waste their time with somebody like that. As for the specific topic at hand, pubic hair is on the body, especially for women, for a reason. As long as it's well maintained, it's beautiful. I've always consifered female pubic hair to be the "icing on the cake" to one of the most beautiful things/places God has created. Unfortunately the porn industry and the modeling industry has worped so many young minds out there into believing that pubic hair is gross and unclean. All a woman has to do is, practice proper maintenance and hygiene; and they'll be just as clean as the people out there that think they must look pre-pubescent. Everybody has a right to their own opinion, but people must realize that the issue over having pubic hair or not didn't exist before the mid to late 80's, when the porn/modeling industry started messing with a good thing. Do what you feel is right, just know that there's a large number of people out there that know the "hairless" craze is way overated, expensive, and a waste of time.

He may mave a preference for smoothness sure, if thats an issue to him he should talk to you about it and come to some compromise, but outright dumping. All in all he should be in love with you not your vagina/legs whatever. As a side not im the kinda guy that love female body hair :)

For example, most men of my generation really don't find it sexy for young women to sport tattoos and peircing all over their (otherwise) lovely bodies, so you may want to take my answer with a grain of salt, unless of course, you're attempting to attract mature men, like me!
Personally, I really find the sight of a bushy mound to be very sexually arousing. I am quite bushy in the pubic area with this weird little line of black hair from the pubic area to my belly button. I don't shave that either.
