I myself look really innocent and this annoys me because guys seem to not go for me, they go for a lot of my friends who are rather not so innocent looking and skanky.I know its not because i'm ugly or anything like that or have a bad personality, because every one tells me i'm pretty and that im super nice and stuff.Why do guys not go for innocent looking girls? reader, anonymous, writes (29 June 2010): Well ladies.. Umms I look pretty innocent myself and people constantly say I look that way but... I'm not innocent. I'm very close to guys and I tend to make friends with guys better and faster than girls because well girls just don't like me when they meet me. They say I smile too much and I'm too nice. But.. guys don't go for you guys because they think you're the type of girl waiting just waiting for the RIGHT guy. You gotta show that you're flirty and fun too. and when you do some guys would just die to get you. Trust me I know. I'm taken and guys still call me names like "babe, beautiful, hun, etc." Hope this helps. :)

It depends on what they are looking for.
If they're just looking to f**k and chuck them, they'll go for the skanky ones.
If they're looking for a long-term relationship, or for marriage, they'll go for the innocent ones.
That being said, an innocent girl is a far better catch for a guy.

I have no idea how though? i wear eyeliner but i cant get rid of the innocent look!! i've asked my guy friends what would help me not look so innocent haha they had NO good ideas i wish you luck :) sorry i cant help lol

You want to seem like a shameless whore and have guys just trying to screw you then by all means. on the other hand, real relationships spawn from just being yourself. I know that sounds lame, but how do you expect to find someone you can connect with by putting up fake image? Simply put most men are dogs, that's why they don't go for innocent girls. I on the other hand hate sluts so the teenage prostitute look isn't really for me.

That has a lot to do with which type of person is loudest/most attention-getting in public, but it's not the whole story.

I hate this lol. I'm a guy 17, and I prefer the innocent girls. I just don't get along with skanky girls. Just I've been heartbroken by two innocent girls because they don't want a relationship, but clearly led me on anyways. That won't stop me from changing my taste though, because well... skanky girls aren't my taste. Here you have decent girls such as your self worrying about guys not "noticing you" and I'm a guy who goes for the innocent ones, and has never had a girlfriend :P Go figure. Funny way the world works don't ya think? Anyway, just live your life, the right person will come along.

At high school, guys do like the 'bad girl' more, but it changes when you get older, when you get to like 19ish they're more mature and then they like the innocent looking girls. x

You have most likely fancied one or two guys that have not been interested in you back, you've seen the girls who they are interested in and wrongly decided it's because you look differently than how they look.
Don't let one or two rejections make you think there is anything wrong with you because from the sounds of it, there isn't.
