I get mine waxed so I told him to get rid of his 2..he shaved it all off but he decided he liked it better to be trimmed.
It all depends on the female..one of my girlfriends loves the thick bushy pubic hair (on her boyfriend) but me personally..I hate it. As long as it is neatly trimmed I don't think you will have a problem :)

i shave myself regularly and have done for many years, whilst it's mainly for myself in that i hate the look of pubic hair, it get's caught in places and zips sometimes and is generally a bother i think it's nice for women too.
my ex seemed to prefer that i was shaven and so does my current, you don't even have to keep it shaved, maybe just trimmed, use a body/beard trimmer or something and just neaten it up every so often, that way it gives the masculine kinda look and isn't uncomfortable.
oh yeah and i'm straight.... :)
