I'm 17 and my girlfriend is 17 and nearly 18, lol, so I'm ten months older then her, though taller, and many have said considerably more mature :p lolI'm her 3rd boyfriend however she is my first. Her first one broke up with because she wouldnt have sex with him...she was 15 at the time, she thought it was just a sex-crazed loony and gave him the boot after a 2 weeks lol...smart choice...The second one was into drinking and alcohol...she thought he was probably not going to be the right one for her and gave him the boot as well...another smart choice...lol...now when she met me she was a little weary off guys by now...you know, her first two relationships didnt really go well and she pretty much had in mind that one guy is the basis for all guys anywhere. However, she seemed surprised by who I was. I was kind, polite, funny, didn't smoke or drink, was responsible towards family and friends, impossible to get angry, and the only thing I do that frustrates people is never get sad or upset. I did secretly like her, she didn't know it, so when she asked me out and I said yes it came as a huge shock to her and we've now been together for 8 months and still we're both as happy as larry, it's her longest lasting relationship. We do love each other and I would really love to marry her one day, obviously not now, but eventually. Considering this good scenario do you think we will last? =) Do first relationships ever work out first time?

it depends. for me my first relationship only lasted a few months. thank god.lol
but then my brother and his gf got together when they were teens and now they are in their 20's and still together. they have nearly been together for 9 years. so i guess some people work together really well and others have to keep looking for that special someone

I'm sorry that I cant give you a longer range but my fiance and I have been together for 4 years i was 15 when we got together and he was 16. It has taken a lot of work and there were many times we both thought it wouldn't work but at the end of the day we still love each other and are still together.

Unfortunately we cannot tell the future.
It may work and it may not.
There is no reason at the moment why it won't last for ever.
Reasons may crop up though and what will be will be.
Good Luck!! xx
