A female India age 41-50, anonymous writes:

My query is very simple. Do any guys seriously contemplate their responsibilities as in a married life before proposing? I have received innumerable proposals over time but i have not find a single man who realises that marriage is more than a fantasy world and most importantly, that their responsibilities are not limited to earning bread for the family. Have i been just unfortunate so far? I hope so... please share your views with me

A male reader, Danielepew Mexico +, writes (8 September 2008):

Danielepew agony auntYes, you have been unfortunate. Serious men do contemplate their responsibilities before they propose. Some don't propose at all if they don't think they can handle it.

Some others will propose BECAUSE they can't handle it. They will expect you to handle that :-). So, be careful.
