reader, anonymous, writes (9 May 2009): From my experience, the more mature ones are upfront about their feelings and let you know what's goin on somehow. The only time i've experienced guys shying away/ignoring you/ etc. was in middle school and early high school when they aren't mature enough to handle their feelings and are still too awkward to show it. But that's only in my experience. I'm sure there are guys who act opposite of that becuase they are shy or have been hurt in the past. The best way to find out form a guy who is like that is jsut to ask. He might feel like there's no way he'd ever have a chance and so he stays away as to not make of fool of himself, so if you approach him about it it'll bring out his courage and show that he had nothing to be nervous about. Anyway.. of course every guy is different. They're not robots all programmed to do and say the same things.
