A female United Kingdom age 51-59, anonymous writes:

Met a guy, few weeks later he took me and my kids out for the day in his sisters car (she was away on business)

My 10 yr old daughter took her phone, decided before we got there she didn't want to carry it round so i put it in the glove box.

Forgot about it, txt him that night to tell him, by this time the sister was back and had her car back.

Next day he said phone wasn't in there. Was all a mystery, said his sister said she looked. He wondered if i had taken it out when we got to the place we went and lost it. I knew that phone was left in there.

So we both wondered if she had some undesirable friend in the car that might of stolen it.

Anyway, that night i rang the phone and an indian guy answered, i asked where he got phone and he hung up. It was switched off after that.

Anyway, months later i met his sister and she is loaded! own house, and certainly wouldn't need 40 quid which was all phone was worth. She is a trouble shooter for Waitrose. certainly wouldn't mix with thieves! This guy on the other hand is a bit travellerish, cash in hand jobs etc.

What do you think?

A male reader, Boonridge McPhalify United Kingdom +, writes (30 August 2008):

Boonridge McPhalify agony aunthe borrows his sisters car as he has no money for his own-makes sense he could take the phone to steal as he sounds trampy and obviously has a penchant for USEING other peoples stuff to meet his needs

cash in hand, unemployed, trampy, itinerant pointless lifestyle, maybe a little bit sociopathic me thinks

so the answer as i see it is yes
