Upon calling her, we chatted for a little bit, and I kind of started to lead in by asking if shes looking forward to any movies that are coming out this Friday. She said that she has a friend coming in from San Francisco, and she couldn't really talk right now because she was at her internship, but she'd call me back.I am kind of doubting she is gonna call back though, because girls usually don't call back. I'm going to see her anyway at class tomorrow, so should I try asking again? Or Just talk to her as if nothing has happened? Or did she just shoot me down? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Thanks for the help! I did talk to her the following day and just pretended like I wasn't planning on asking her out.
I did figure out that she indeed had a friend coming over this weekend, so I am planning on delaying asking again until next week.
You can't compete with a friend right?

Talk to her in class, act like nothing happened for now. She may have just been in a hurry and didn't think and just got off the phone quickly. BUT, I would say that if she was interested in going out with you and it sounded like your conversation was kind of leaning that way, she would give you a call back to see if you would. So just let it blow over for now and see if she drops any hints.
