A male United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

I really like this girl and I thought she liked me too but one day one of my friends who is quite close with her ( I think he likes her) told me she was going to say she likes me but it's a dare coz everyone was joking we were practically going out. So really hurt I lied and sed I didn't. But since she's been ignoring me and avoiding me and I really miss her despite what she did and also I've been doubting it was really a dare especially since my friends are close and they share secret and they have ALL told me she likes me. Today she swapped lockers despite having her locker next to mine for 2years with another girl. Was it really a dare and if it wasn't have I missed my chance completly????

Talk to her and tell her everything that happened. Tell her you were told she was dared to tell you, and you thought it was too good to be true so you hid your feelings because you didn't want to be hurt because she is just so special to you.

Her behavior is that of a rejected girl. She honestly liked you and is now trying to move on because she thinks you dislike her. Now is your chance. You know how she feels, so time to show her your cards. Enough games already.

Your friend probably didn't want you two to get together so he lied.. Just a thought.

Blod agony auntYou must have meant something to her if she's upset about it. I wouldn't trust what this guy's told you. It sounds like he's been stirring so I think you should try talking to this girl. Tell her what he told you and how you felt. Don't be afraid to tell her how you feel. She should be honest with you back and you'll know where you stand. Good luck.

petina1 agony auntsounds like your friend has been doing a bit of mixing. Try to talk to her and find out what's been said. She may like you and when she knows the truth all will be well. Hopefully. sometimes your friends can get a bit jealous if they think two people like each other and can stir it up a bit. Hope this helps
