writes: so my boyfriend and me broke up thursday i think, andi broke up with him.we have been texting trying to work things out i asked him if he was gonna move on and he said no he didnt wont to. so we was texting and he stoped texting me at 9:15pm and i texted him 4 times no respond he finally texted back at 11:05pm and said that he fell asleep. so we was texting untill 12:21 then he says that he is really sleepy and is gonna go to bed he doesnt ever say that he just textes me untill he falls asleep. so then he says. im really sleepy so im gonna go to sleep ill talk to you later * **** ***with the little stars. i looked at them a few times and new it was I LOVE YOU. so i kept thinking about why he would put "i love you" in little stars then it hit me. i think he has another girl she was with him and he put "i love you" in stars so she wouldnt no what it means why else would he put it like that right? what do you think? why would he put "i love you" in little stars?

reader, anonymous, writes (13 June 2011): has he ever said it to you, or text it to you without the "code" if he has then he was definitly trying to hide it. And he was lying about going to sleep. HAHA why would he be so tired if he just woke up at 11:05 and says hes really tired at 12:21.

he only put it in little stars because he is afraid that you wont approve if he puts it in words. He is not with another girl i garantee it. I would do the same thing in his position

And if he had had another girl beside him, would have he been texting to you for about one hour fifteen without her noticing or saying anything ?! Woudn't she have gotten mad, or up and left, even without having to read I LOVE YOU spelled out ?
Just asking. I pride myself to be pretty much in touch and "au courant " with the younger generations, but this whole texting thing totally baffles me.
I just can't imagine a guy laying in bed, or cuddling on the sofa , with a girl... and texting another. Unless he is a total jerk and she a total doormat.
