Did I lose my virginity or not? How do I explain this to my new boyfriend?

Question - (3 June 2009) 2 Answers - (Newest, 3 June 2009)
A female South Africa age 30-35, *phiwe writes:

I'm 19 years old and I'm afraid I might have lost my virginity. I was dating this guy and I desided that I wanted to lose my virginity on him but when we were busy withe 4 play, he inserted his tip of the penis but it didn't reach the hymen and I did not feel any pain or bleeded either. I later realise that He was not the guy I thought he was, so the relationship just changed and things got sour between us. He now wants me back and he claims that he feels guilty as he had taken my virginity. At first, I didn't tell myself that I had lost my virginity so now it all reflects back and the reason why I couldn't stop thinking about him. I'm now back with my ex-boyfriend who knows me as a virgin, so now how do I clarify this to him? Do I tell him that i'm still a virgin or half a virgin?

A female reader, anonymous, writes (3 June 2009):

Im not sure what you mean. You went back to the guy who believes he took your virginity? Oki first off, the whole virginity thing is a mess. Even if you've had sex once doesnt mean the next time isnt gonna hurt, so body-wise you'll still be just like a virgin since you have basically no experience.

If you're gonna look at the definition of what a virgin is, yes you are no longer a virgin, he had his penis in you.

aphexinfinite agony auntthe penis has not penetrated your vagina so their for your still a virgin the penis must be fully inserted to break the hymen which on the first try is normally slightly painful and you could bleed a little so i would say you are a virgin and whether or not you tell him the choice is yours but either way he will find out if you do have sex

. good luck aphex xx
