Hello there,

I have a big problem that i can't seem to sort out. Well there's is this guy who i've like on and off for a few years although only this year have we actually started to get to know each other a bit. But i find it really difficult to know if this guy likes me or not, i'm pretty sure i like him but i don't want to make a mistake in his feelings for me. Basically recently, he's been coming up to me and chatting to me. Only yesterday, i was sitting down and he came over and said Hello and i politely asked him how he was etc, ( we were helping with a group of kids) we had to stop as the kids film started but throughout i could see him fiddling with his feel and i couyld see him wathching me every now and then in the corner of my eye and then he sat back so i could no longer see him. I didn't know what to do when the movie finished so i helped clear up without talking to him and left. However, i don't know if i did the wrong thing by leaving so fast and giving him the wrong impression and i don't know if these signs of him 'liking me' are just me. Help!!

Heloo, the way you describe the guy it sounded like he was just as nervous as you! Its always difficult breaking the ice and you battled that et didn't follow it all through, next time you get the chance pluck up the courage to talk to him a bit more, start up something and see where it goes. He obviously likes you, the signs were all there, your just both similar in your behaviour and in this case it clashed. Confidence is something everyone has to overcome, don't make the same mistake twice, next time go and talk to him, if you want anything to happen you need to move forward and sometimes waiting isn't the best option. If you want something enough then go get it! Best of luck
