Tonight, after talking to him for most of the day (via tx), I took the plunge and mentioned that I was going out with mates on Thursday to a local pub. I asked if he would like to meet up as it would be good to get to know him better properly (I told him this).I have not yet had a reply but am wondering if I did the right thing - I do not always agree that the man should always ask the woman out as sometimes the man is too shy to ask the woman. Although I am quite shy, for some reason, I felt really confident about asking this guy out. Did I do the right thing or was there little things I could have done differently? Will he say no because my mates will be around too? Please help - this is the first time I have ever asked a guy out!!!

Well it could of been a number of things on why he didn't txt you back,my hunch is...he probably got very nervous at the thought of meeting you up with your mates, what i would suggest is...ask him out again but this time just you and him...if he still doesn't respond then i would just leave it...you have done all you can...the ball would be in his court then.Good luck.
