There I was battling to know if he was just polite or what.Until he said he did it b/c he enjoys our friendship and emailing. Friday, for the third time he send me a one line note "checking in " saying Hi and hoping I´m OK. Well, I am but wrote a bunch of things happening (I had a lot to tell and some were bad news). He hasn´t replied. Do you think me writing a some what a big note was a bit too much, so why he didn´t want to say anything more?Sorry, but we girls like to think of it too much, but with guys like this what else can we do? HELP!

My view is that he probably does feel a bit daunted about having to give a full reply to your long email, and he's putting it off. Not just a male thing, I am like it too, so I wouldn't take it to heart, especially if you are just friends. Why not ease back for a bit and let him contact you when he wants to, that he won't feel under pressure and guilty for late response each time he thinks about you. Make sure he is the next one to mail, and then leave it hanging for a while. Then, you could make your follow up a real quicky. Sometimes it's nice just to be able to chek in without feeling the burden of writing an essay.Good luck.
