writes:Hi,I was dating this girl - we have gone out about 15 times. Every time was great and she showed real interest. She told me once she was falling for me so her walls were going up. The last couple times we hung out she was distant but we still would kiss. I asked her straight out if i was wasting my time with her in a nice way. I could tell she felt a little uncomfortable about it but we talked. At the end of the conversation i implyed that it was over between us and i was sad about it. she just said she didnt see it that way. Did i do a stupid thing by asking if she is wasting my time? I hate to say it but you may have completely blown it. When she told you that 'she was falling for you but her walls were going up' she was telling you that she just didn't want to get her heart ripped out because she has feelings for you. Instead of taking it slow and letting her see that she could trust you not to hurt her, you did exactly what she was afraid of. You might try being open and talking to her about it but your going to have to be patient. Sounds like she's been hurt before and she doesn't want her heart to end up like road kill. Good luck!

i dont think there was anything wrong with wanting to know where you stood in the situation maybe just the way you went about it.
Have you called her or spoke to her since it went wrong, maybe just arrange to meet have a chat & discuss things openly dont beat around the bush lifes to short!!
