writes:Alright, so basically there's this guy at school who I have a crush on, and I'm not sure if he likes me back. Throughout the years he's never really seemed to have an interest in me, until the beginning of this school year, where he came up to me to talk to me, and he somehow got my number and began texting me. Ever since he texted me that night, we've talked everyday, and he usually starts the conversations.In the hallways he used to look at me and nod or smile, but recently we got into a very deep conversation where he told me about how he regrets his first time, and how he didn't care anymore, and how if a girl liked him and asked him out, he wouldn't reject her, but he wouldn't like her back, and I replied with texts saying that having feelings will only benefit him etc.. He got annoyed, and then he apologized for snapping, and went to sleep. We haven't really talked properly since, and he won't even acknowledge me at school anymore. We were supposed to hang out this weekend but when I texted him he said he might be grounded, and instead went to see a movie with someone else. I'm super confused, did he find out I like him and is creeped out? Did I do something wrong? Does he like me? What happened?!

reader, anonymous, writes (23 November 2010): Its scary but sometimes its better when you come off as direct & avoid beating around the bush. In school or whenever you see him ALONE , walk up to him & really ask him why hes been acting so strange. You might not like the answer but at least you'll know & move on & if not just one big misunderstanding.
