I was seeing a girl for 2 years before we broke up and moved on our separate ways. I stayed single for a year and met this amazing girl through common friends. We are very much into each other and I really love this girl and want to marry her eventually. The problem we are having is in our sex lives. I tend to last longer in bed when we are having sex. Usually a normal sex session lasts for 4-5 hours minimum. Please dont go overboard thinking im a super human. But, I take a long time to ejaculate and once we start having sex i am really into it. I also take quick breaks in between to drink water etc and again start and it continues for a long time before I finally ooze out.My girlfriend at the end of each marathon sex session is pretty worn out to a point where she has started resenting sex with me.This is causing a lot of tension between us and I really feel guilty about it. She did enjoy our sex sessions initially but lately she is very stressed at work and these long lasting sex sessions give her no time to sleep in the night.I agree to this but I am really not able to control this problem or understand what is wrong with me. My questions is :1. should i see a doctor ?2. What is delayed ejaculation exactly and what causes it ?3. If I masturbate I ejaculate early dont take so long but only when having sex I take a lot of time.4. Is there any psychological underlying issue involved here. Please advise.

It can happen if you used to masturbate a lot - the softer sensation of the female vagina makes it difficult to ejaculate if you're too used to the tighter sensation of your hands. I tend to masturbate a lot too, either by myself or getting a handjob from my partner, which used to make it difficult for me as well when I was with women, though I am as attracted to them as I am to men. One thing that has helped a lot is to use a light grip when masturbating...over a period of time that helps I guess because for the last one year or so I've had no problems finishing pretty much on demand.
One easy solution for you of course would be for your girlfriend to finish you off 'by hand' when she's had her fill.
