I have been dating this guy for five years and he tells me he has strong feelings for me everyday but how could I take him servious when he always downing me and always have something negative to say to me, what am I suppose to do?

Next time he says something horrible to you then tell him you are sick of it and if he says something like that to you again then you will dump him.

Then if he does it again... dump him.

No man should make you feel crap about yourself and then try and say he loves you. He's trying to emotionally beat you into your place so he can control you.
