We live quite far away from our friends so my hubbie disappears off for a few days at a time.
But it doesn't really matter what my husband does. What matters is the fact that you aren't happy with something so you should tell him you are not happy and come to some compromise.
Good Luck!! xx

I see my best friends about once a week, and talk to them through phone calls, texts or IM throughout the week.
My girlfriend and I mostly share friends, so we hang out as a big group mostly. I only have a few friends that are "mine" alone, though she does sometimes tag along when I see them as well (probably about 25% of the time).

Sometimes, I see the married one once a week, sometimes, twice a month but we talk often. Sometimes, I see the soon to be married one twice a year, sometimes only once, but we talk often. Furthering that, sometimes I see him a few times a week. As with the common-laws, I am friends with both. We hang out once or twice a month, sometimes, once or twice a week.
There is no set rule as to how long we spend time with each other nor how often. A good connection, a good relationship means knowing when to have fun, when to talk about things and when to call them up or leave them alone.
It's all about communication and the affinity you have with your friends.
