Creative Valentine's Day Suggestions?

Ok....Valentine"s day is just around the corner...

My partner and I have been together for 7 months (we are an older couple). We have been through hell and back since just before Xmas due to some curve balls, but are on the mend.

My partner has made some poor choices in relationships before me and has never really had anyone to celebrate V-day with him, to show him he's special. I want to do this for him.

Unfortunately, I do not have a creative enough imagination when it comes to this stuff, but I want to show him exactly how special he is and how much he means to me. Any ideas??? (I'm thinking more from the heart than financially)

well... if you are artistic there is a world of homemade options

no matter what you do, presentation is key... just set the mood properly.

im 19 and only had/have one serious relationship, so I don't know much : P

but I made a t-shirt.. very very carefully... it was really well done, kinda proud of myself, and I'm giving my boyfriend that. ... you'd have to kind of scale that kind of idea to suit your life stage though

anyways http://www.everythingetsy.com/2011/09/25-handmade-gifts-for-men-diy/

or google homemade gift ideas

------------------

If you DO have cash to spend, consider engravings. maybe its just me, but personalized gifts are incredibly romantic to me. You can get pocket watches, compasses, jewelry, paper weights, anything really.

If all else fails ... at least get him flowers and a card... maybe a handmade card? or at least put your own message in it... maybe write a poem?

------------------

I'm a virgin... and this isnt something I would do, but theres always the whole sexual gift type thing..... idk not my cup of tea :|

--------------------

another gift idea that is cheap and romantic is coupons. Free hug coupons, free request, free foot massage, dinner of choice, movie night.. idk... whatever your partner likes that maybe you dont always have the time to do, plus the little fun things like hugs and kisses

.... it will come back on you though... ruins my anger when im pissed at my boyfriend and he flashes a free hug coupon i gave him like 6 months prior (but who really wants to be angry with their partner anyhow)

I've written too much... i tend to rant.... maybe a free "mute urself" coupon OTL ... my boyfriend would love one im sure, GOOD LUCK ... i'll check up on this if u update or reply
