there's a christmas ball in 1week at my school. i want to go with my friend. she hasn't got the money but she is dyin to go. i am willing to pay for her ticket and dress. but she will never let me.

so i've already paid for the tickets for her and me. now i need to buy her dress, i've told her to come town with me on thursday evening to choose my suit but when she comes with me i'll show her the ticket and say she has to come! she only say's no because it's my money she is too kind to use it! if i tell her in town about tickets she'll be happy. but girls dont need more time to buy a dress do they? we'll have about 4hours to shop.

is this a good idea? maybe this could be her christmas present! and the ball night will be a night to remember! any more suggestions please tell me. would it be nice to bring a rose on the day? because she is my date! any other nice things? thanks

I think you are just so lovely. What a lucky girl!! I would be so chuffed if a bloke did that for me. I bet she will be very excited and will love the idea. Just go for it. The dress and the ticket should be enough to splurge out on. Don't go over the top.

Have a great Christmas Ball.

Take care

hannieseds agony auntAwwww....I like your style!

Any girl would be over the moon to have a guy like you wanting to make them feel as special as you want this girl to feel!

If she doesn't really want to accept only because she feels bad it is your money, then you need to sit her down, perhaps at the mall when you give her the ticket and she starts protesting, and be firm with her - say you want her to go with you more than anything in the world and that money is no bother whatsoever. Look in her eyes and she will know you mean it. Then tell her as an early Xmas pressie you are spluging on a dress for her! She can't say no!

A rose is a fab idea, or perhaps a little one she can pin on the beautiful dress you buy her so she can wear it proudly all night? I don't think you need anything else, as you would have spoiled her enough! You also say she is your friend, so don't go tooooo overboard otherwise you may give her the wrong idea ---- or is that your intention?! :o) xxx
