Your age has nothing to do with it. He know that if anything happens between him and a co worker and things dont turn out the way they were meant to be then things would be sour and very incomfortable at work. I just think you should wait and see something could spark if you 2 get to know each other better. I just wanna let you know that i am 19 and my bf is 30 - we have an awesome relationship.

Most men (that I know anyway) would not have an issue with this age difference as you're very much an adult, and also he would, I assume, tell you if this was the issue. It sounds like he's already giving his honest reason!
