Does my tutor fancy me?

Right now I'm in school, one of my subjects is tech design. I have this male teacher whos like 25 26ish. I spend loads of time in the tech rooms in my free lessons so i spend loads of time with him.

A week or two ago was the prom which he was at and I was at. and i asked him to dance because i was abit drunk. n he was like - 'i wanted a drink but i'd prefer to dance with you' so we danced and he was like stairing at me and holding my hands. then he offered me a drink, and we sat talking for ages, then when i was leaving he was saying 'oh no dont go' and stuff, so i had afew pictures with him and hes like really hugging me in them.

We were back in school then the week after and he was just talking to me again, and in my lesson he came and sat right by me, but we do have like two teachers at once and only about 5 people in my class, so i guess it wasnt that unusual.

Then the wednesday after some of our classes tech work was on display in this place, so some of my class and all the tutors were there, he had his girlfriend with him at the night and as we were arriving, he was too, and he came in the lift with me and my friend while he girlfriend went up the stairs, which i thought was abit wierd,

In the lift he was saying stuff like 'wanna go back down? ;)' and was joking that he was gonna get out of the lift looking all red and roughed up, i noticed when he was talking to me aswell he was sort of stairing at me a little bit longer than you normally do, which my friend also noticed.

Then when we were leaving he was with his girlfried abit, but then came over to me and my friends from school and asked if we wanted to go and have a drink with the tutors, so we said ok.

We didn't end up going in the but we walked around for a bit, and then when we were leaving, i was linking arms with one of the other man tutor,so that he'd make me look older so i wouldnt get checked by the bouncers, and he waved good bye to everyone else and then came over to the teacher i was with and my friends said it loked as if he wanted to come over 2 me.

So then on the way home, one of my friends said 'kate u'll have to be careful there!' and i was quite like 'why?' and she said 'its obvious he likes you!', so it wasn't just me who thought it - it was others too..

I told him once that I'd had a relationship with this boy, and it turned out he was in school with him. and I think him knowing that i'd had a boyfriend who was just a little bit younger than him changed his opinion of me.

He's only 8 years older than me, which isn't really that much - as im practically 18, and - we obviously share the exact same interests - as we spend so much time together making things.

does he like me?

sounds like he might, but he may flirt and never overstep that mark, he'll properly get in trouble. Wait till your 18 at least and then see what happens

SeekingAdvise agony auntI think you pretty much answered your own question. Its hard on these things to gage exactly what happend and therefore whats going on and you apear to know for yourself that he does like you. You sound rational, you give credit where credit is due and look for simple explanations where there could be ones (i am reffering to paragraph 3 here) and i trust my friends and i know that if they had said that to me, especially if it was my best friend, i would deffinatly believe them and think that it was probably pretty certain that he did like me.

HOWEVER!!! friends nomatter how much we love them over react and get jelous. Maybe if this guy is a catch or lots of people fancy him or even the fact that hes a tutor and therefore older (and lets face it really flattering) they are jelous and want to see you make a fool of yourslef on a subconcious level. I say this as a warning as it has happend to me countless times as i tend to get a bit more attention from the opposite sex when we go out than my friends they start pointing out that everyone is looking at me and in some cases convince me to go and talk to a really cute guy, just to discover he wasnt looking at me at all, i just look like an idiot! Im nt saying that they did it on purpose but its a human instinct to over react. so the friends that said this to you do you trust them?

And another thing, you said he had a girlfriend. TRED VERY CARFULLY!! the last thing you need is a crazed girl banging your door down because you came on to her man.

So my advice to you is just play it cool, maybe, if you feel clever and daring enough and you actually like him (Do you? you never said in ur Q), fish for details and look for little subtle hints but even if you get them and whilst he has a girlfriend dont make a move. Get to know him as a friend but dont degrade yourself by being the other woman. You seem very smart and i hope it works out for you

Id love to hear back from you so send me a message some time XXXXX
