A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Me and my boyfriend were together for 10 months and in that time we broke up once or twice and he would all ways come back to me. He would say he made a mistake and loves me and wants me back. We broke up again 3 weeks ago he dated another girl but it only lasted a day. He started texting me again the last week and kinda talked about old times together. Yesterday he asked if im dating some one i said no then he asked if i had sence the break up i said no then he said oh lol i g2g to bed night. i said good night.I really like him a lot and i want to try to make this work. Does any one think he could be starting to get feelings for me again or maybe will over time? ps were both 14 and i know were young but please dont say there will be other guys i truely love him and i know he did me to i want to try. Thanks for your time and help.

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (5 January 2010):

You might love him, but he doesn't love you. He's not yet ready to be in a relationship. You've now broken up three times in 10 months. I think you are mature, and I'm sure you love him, but he's just not ready for a committed relationship at this moment. His behaviour is just that of a 14 year old boy. He doesn't really know what he wants. My advice is to focus on your own life right now.
