Pregnancy tests do not measure estrogen and progestin, the two synthetic hormones in combined oral contraceptive pills so even if you get pregnant while taking an oral contraceptive, I have to say that you can rely on the result of the test being accurate. This is probably not good news for you if you've only just started taking the pill. Please go and see a doctor now as stressing will not help you or the baby.
I wrote a detailed post about this very issue on my website if you would like to read it. There's also a free e-book that gives you trustworthy answers to lots of common birth control questions - may be a bit late for you but your friends may appreciate knowing about it. You may find other information on the site that is helpful for you though.

Hmmm - to be honest hon, those pregnancy tests are VERY accurate these days...if you've gotten two back that say positive you should get yourself off to a Dr and have a blood test! Did you have sex around the middle of your cycle? Why did you do the tests? How long since your last period?
So you don't go mad wondering, and to give yourself all the options you should go and get it checked out!
Hope it goes OK!
