writes:I am hoping some of the great agony aunts on this site can help me. There is a guy that I work with who I have noticed and who has noticed me. I see him looking at me when I he thinks no one can see. When we are with a group of colleagues he will turn in a stance to include me. Tonight as I was leaving he followed me out and asked when I would be doing for the weekend. He mentioned he is having a Christmas party and that I can bring a date. After he said that there was a bit of silence. He could just be being friendly and that is fine by me just now as I am just out of relationship or could it be that he is kind of interested. Usually I can get a sense but am not good at sensing these things right now. Could I being reading too much in as I am a bit on the rebound. All replies appreciated and welcomed.

reader, anonymous, writes (15 November 2008): Nothing ventured Nothing gained.Since he has asked you out to the party,Let him know that you do not have a date but ask him would it be fine.Go to the party.Find if some other girl is clinging on to him like his second skin.If she is,he is already seeing some one.Or if he singles you out for his attention definitely something is brewing.If nothing else go to the party and have fun.It will definitely boost up your spirits.When you are on a rebound you need to take it cool and easy.The hardest thing in a courtship is to wait.Rome wasn't built in a single day.
