reader, anonymous, writes (12 November 2008): I can only assume that you're trying for baby as otherwise having unprotected sex is an extremely stupid and irresponsible thing to do, making me think that you are actually younger than the age you give with your question. If you want to know if you are pregnant, a "good time" is as soon as you want to know; either go the the doctor or get a test from the supermarket.

reader, anonymous, writes (12 November 2008): There could be lots of reasons why your period didn't come. Look on a website what the other symptoms are and when, but if you want to know now, ask your doctor for a test or get a kit from the chemist.
You sound as if you want to be pregnant, but have you thought your future over? You are still quite young to bring up a child.

reader, anonymous, writes (12 November 2008): The best time to get checked is asap! If you are having regular unprotected sex then it is inevitable that at some point you will get pregnant. The symptoms of pregnancy normally come about 2-4 weeks after conception. It's too late for you to take a morning after pill as you need to take it at the most 3 days after conception. Go to the doctors before it's too late.
