A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I used to go out with a boy i liked, recently i've stated to have feelings for him again, he did fancy me back before at christmas but a different girl asked him out and therefore i didn't fancy him anymore.

I Fancy him again. He Knows This But Likes Another Kind of girl. I'm not the jelous type but i can't stop thinking about him. All i want is him, i talk about him 24/7 and my friends get annoyed with me because of it. I know that i could ask him out but if i do he will ovbiously say no. We haven't talked in two days. He seemed a bit "off" with me and all i want is for me and him to go out on a date and see how it goes. Am i in love ? i think i am but i'm not sure. Please, please please help me.

Well, my experience of love is that it only really happens to you properly when you've reached a certain level of maturity. That's not to say that you aren't mature but I think that this is only something you can really appreciate with age and experience.

What you are describing sounds exactly like infatuation. Love is a completely different beast. They both start in the same way but Love is a progression of infatuation and is something you are sure of, without doubt or question.

By all means you should try to resume a relationship with this boy if you think he might feel the same way but be careful about using the L word, it's easy to throw around and quickly loses meaning.
