Could his unemployment be why he's putting us on hold?

Question - (15 July 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 15 July 2009)
A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

So I met this guy a few weeks ago and we hung out a couple of times and had this amazing chemistry and connection. The third time we hung out I invited him over for dinner because my roomie is also seeing his friend so we all had dinner together. I thought the night was going well and he ended up crashing at my place. I wanted to have sex because we had had sex the last couple times and I enjoyed it, he tells me we shouldn't have sex this time if were trying to have something more and tells me it will be even better the next time so we end up cuddling.

So a week goes by and I hear nothing from him...I end up texting him and he tells me he thinks I'm a cool girl and who knows what will happen down the road but right now is not a good time for him. ONE part I have left out is that he was fired from his job about a month and a half ago and isn't having luck finding one. Now is this the reason he doesn't want to pursue anything with me? Is it he just doesn't like me or what? He still goes out to bars and clubs with his buddies since he's been unempolyed. He's 30 and I'm 26...
