I can honestly say that he is a little rough, but I dont actually feel any pain while he is doing it..it's actaully very pleasurable. I'm just concerned about it causing permant damage,or if that is even possible. I don't want to have to ask him to tone it down, because then that tones down the pleasure of it too. It's the only way he can make me squirt, and I think he's quite proud of being able to do that. Is there a possibly of this causing serious damage over time?

Tell him to take it a bit easier and make sure his nails are short, and that it's not them scratching you.
If it doesn't stop go to a doctor.

If you don't still have an intact hymen that is getting damaged, I'd have to assume he needs to trim his nails.
I guess it is possible that if he is cutting you with nails that you could end up with scar tissue that would cause desensitization which obviously would equate to reduced pleasure.
A nick here and there prob would not make any notable difference, but collect up a pile of them and it would add up to a wide spread area and may become an issue.

I would go see your gynecologist to be sure everything is okay.
