I have a hard time believing if you can't pick up on an orgasm, that he would be able to AFTER the fact. Maybe if he was the most skilled lover in the history of lovers and you had never experienced an orgasm before then maybe I might buy what he is selling. But after the fact....
If by "come" he means something like female ejaculation (i.e. squirting) then that actually might make sense. Did you ever feel like you peed during sex? Maybe he is watching porn now and realizing it wasn't pee, it was squirting.
Other than that, I think he might be pulling your leg.
