A female reader, Emilysanswers United Kingdom +, writes (26 October 2008):

Why don't you ask him if he wants to split up rather than driving yourself mad trying to pick up on minute bits of body language.

Tell him you get the feeling he doesn't want to be with you and you need to know what is going on.

Give him a chance to split up without being emotional, and making him feel guilty. If he doesn't want to split up then find out what it is that you are picking up on and tell him what has made you think these things.

Good Luck!! xx
