A female reader, ShadowGirl United Kingdom +, writes (2 July 2010):

She can't get pregnant after having the injection (as long as she keeps having it of course) the injection basically puts a contraceptive into the bloodstream and stops a woman from ovulating this means she wont be able to get pregnant. But, when she stops having injections and (if you both want to) trys for another baby, it could take time to get pregnant again as it takes a while for the contraceptive to get out of the blood.

Hope I helped =] xxx
